Petretti & Associates (P&A) was founded in July of 1968. P&A is an independent insurance agency and licensed Third Party Administrator representing its clients on a local, national, and worldwide basis. We take pride in the fact that we are not a captive organization representing one, or only a few, insurance companies.

P&A offers specific, specialized knowledge in the individual and employee benefit areas of Life, Health, Disability, Long Term Care, and Professional Liability Insurance. Services are offered on either a sale, fee for service, or consulting only basis. P&A also has specialized knowledge, or affiliated organizations, to provide other insurance, financial, risk management, administrative, accounting, and legal services.

P&A has grown and changed over the years but has always tried to keep true to one mission -- to represent our clients first in all matters, and to provide the same level of service to each client as we would give to a member of our family. P&A also believes relationships, continuity, and service are critical parts to any individual’s or business’ financial plan. As our industry and client needs have changed over the years, so has P&A. We will continue to evolve.

Dale E. Petretti entered the insurance field in July of 1968. Dale is President and Managing Principal of Petretti & Associates, Inc., a Wisconsin corporation providing insurance, risk management, administrative, and consulting services. Petretti & Associates Inc. is also a licensed Third Party Administrator in the state of Wisconsin. He also serves as President for those operations.

Dale has held various management, administrative, and officer positions during his career including 10 years as the Director of Insurance and Retirement Programs/Administrative Officer at one of the largest private free-standing medical schools in the country. He is also past President of one of the largest insurance agencies in the Midwest that was part of a state medical society. In addition, he was Vice President of their parent, for profit, holding corporation and Vice President of their Third Party Claims Administration Corporation.

Dale has trained agents for various insurance and brokerage companies. He has received various insurance industry awards, including Agent of the Year from the General Agents and Managers of the Wisconsin Association of Life Underwriters, and the distinction of being a Life and Qualifying member of the Leading Producers Round Table of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).

Dale served on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Association of Health Underwriters (WAHU), is a past President of WAHU and a recipient of the Robert C. Gilray Distinguished Service Award from WAHU.  He is a past Region Five Chairperson for Education of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).  He is also a recipient of the Region V Leadership Award and the American Enterprise Award from NAHU.  Additionally, for over two decades he has also been an active member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (FSP).

He currently holds the following advanced designations from Northeastern University, The American College and The Corporation for Long-Term Care / Board Of Standards, Inc.: Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), Registered Employee Benefit Consultant (REBC), Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Healthcare Consultant (ChHC).
